General insurance advice

We act on behalf of our clients at all times and endeavour to provide excellence in customer service and professional advice. This process includes:

  • Spending time getting to thoroughly understand our clients’ business, their risks and goals
  • Undertaking risk management benchmarking of property and cyber risks using 5Star surveys
  • Providing thorough information to insurers to ensure that they understand what risk they are accepting and how our client manages or minimises their risks
  • Negotiating the best possible terms, not only premium, but also policy coverage
  • Undertaking a comprehensive analysis of various options and presenting these and our recommendations to clients
  • Providing expert advice on insurance markets, including which insurer is best for our clients’ needs based on factors such as financial strength and claims service
  • Arranging placement of insurances in accordance with our clients’ instructions including ensuring accurate documentation is received from insurers following binding
  • Arranging changes in cover as required throughout the policy term
  • Providing ongoing advice about general insurance matters throughout the policy term
  • Acting as the first point of call in the event of a claim
  • Lodging of claims with insurers, including facilitating appointment of assessors where required
  • Advocating throughout the course of the claim for our clients, endeavouring to have the claim finalised as promptly as possible
  • Ensuring that our clients receive a fair outcome following a claim, including reviewing claim declinatures, and challenging decisions with insurers where necessary
